(Part 1)

On a 12-hour hectic-annoying plane trip to Japan two women are going to embark on an adventurous journey. And it’s not going to be pretty.

Naina who’s sitting on a comfortable airplane bed feet up reading a book, she adjusts the leather gloves on her hand and tries to keep a smile on her face, she looks towards an upset passenger sitting next to her, none other than her best-friend more of a sister.

Naina [nudges Roshni]: “Roshni Jaan, what is there to be upset about, this is a perfect job opportunity for both of us, and the pay is good. [Roshni doesn’t respond, Naina turns Roshni’s head and pouts.] Unnie, please you know my mom wouldn’t let me go alone. This is only for three months, and then if you don’t like it at all we can move back to England.

Roshni [smiles]: “I have noticed, you only call me Unnie when you want something. [Pulls Naina ear “Ow Unnie”] But tell me what is so great about working for Avex Entertainment. Are they going to appreciate your song writing, they weren’t very respectful to you in person.

Naina [all smiles]: “I don’t expect them to be at all really, I just showed them a sample. Plus you will be the medical advisor/psychologist there, and its good pay. [pouts again]

Roshni [smacks Naina’s arm]: “I know this is all just to meet your secret crush.”

Naina [pout and smile fades]: “Roshni, I just like his voice and am a fan, I don’t have a crush.”

Roshni [avoids topic]: “Soooo… you didn’t tell me, how we got business class? I mean it’s not like you’re working for Avex yet and even if you did, I doubt they would pay business class. They don’t even treat their celebrities this well.”

Naina [smirks]: “It was a treat from Cherrytree Recordings…. After working for them three years straight, they wanted to treat me.”

Roshni [smiles]: “This is exactly why staying in England is much better. People respect your work.”

Naina [pouts and turns still talking]: “I want to experience a different working environment, plus if it doesn’t work out I can renew my contract with Cherrytree.”

Roshni [starts to relax and read a magazine]: “You have got this all planned out huh?

Naina [starts to stammer]: “W-wwell t-there is a slight prob…lem…”

Roshni [looks at Naina and drops her magazine]: “I knew it! I knew it! Something has got to be wrong! You cannot plan something without some mistake.”

Naina [still stammering]: “Our l-l-iving a-r-r-rang..ments.”

Roshni[screams and stands up]: “We have no place to live!”

An airhostess comes and sits Roshni down: “Excuse me miss, but even if this is business class, you need to manage your behavior.”

Roshni[sits down drinks a whole bottle of water]: “Breathing… Breathing…”

Naina [pats Roshni on the shoulder]: “Calm down, we will get a place to stay, once I get there and they see how magnificent we are at what we do, they will have to give us a place to stay.” [Naina shows her 100 watt smile].

Roshni[smirks, takes her magazine and starts smacking Naina with it]: “You idiot, How can you guarantee that they will give us somewhere to live?!

Naina [whispers]: “We will have no problem at all, now will you stop yelling and order us some lassi’s.”

Roshni [totally forgets about the situation]: “They have lassi on British Airways?”

Naina [smirks]: “Mango..” [wiggles her eyebrows up and down]

Roshni [looks at Naina with fondness in her eyes]: Don't think we are done talking about your horrible planning skills. I will leave it alone for now to enjoy my mango lassi.

Naina [smiles]: "I'm sure, I will figure something out, and I admit, I always get us in a mess... but we manage to pull through." [gives Roshni a 100 watt smile]

Roshni [looks angrily at Naina]: “Stop smiling my head hurts from the brightness of the smile. WE manage to pull through?? Where do you get that? What would you do without me? .... I'll tell you what... you'd still be stuck in the window trying to get out of detention in high school...”

Naina [laughs guiltily]: “I know I’m stupid at all this planning stuff. However I’m still a professional woman, so when we do get there and I sign the contract I’ll make sure living arrangements are put in. Now let us take a nap, before we get there in 10 hours.”

Roshni: “I believe you... nap? Do you really think I'll be able to sleep with all this mango lassi in my system? You suggested it. [Laughs maniacally] Now you shall reap the effects of your suggestion.”

Naina [fake snoring]: “Zzzzzzzz…”

Roshni [smiles]: “I know you’re faking...” [slurps some mango lassi]

Naina falls asleep as she fake sleeps and Roshni decides not to wake her younger sister up. As time passes by Roshni looks out the window and sees Mount Fuji and gets all excited knowing they have finally arrived in Japan. Roshni gets lost in her thoughts wondering about if they'll get to meet and work with Tohoshinki.

Naina wakes up and notice that they are flying over Japan and will land soon.

Naina: “Yo Rosh, we are here, why didn’t you wake me up?”

Roshni [comes out of lala land]: “Sorry I must have been lost in my thoughts and I didn't notice.”

Before Naina can reply the Captain’s voice comes over the speaker: “Attention passengers this is your Captain speaking we will now be landing in Nagoya, Japan. Please fasten your seatbelts due to possible turbulence.”

Roshni [mumbles]: “We're not even there yet and problems already.”

Naina [yelps]: “There’s fu***** sleet outside…. O my Hugh Jackman!”

Roshni rolls her eyes at Naina's antics while everyone around them look at the girls as if they were mental.

Suddenly the plane starts to land bumpily and the girls realize they forgot to put on their seat belts. They both fall over hit their head on the metal table in front of them.

Roshni and Naina look at each other and then burst out laughing. Both of them put their seat belts on… as the plane lands on the icy terrain.

They go through customs without much trouble and are finally exiting the airport.

Roshni [looks at Naina with luggage in her hands shivering]: “So where is the Avex Trax Building?”

Naina [looks at Roshni sheepishly and whispers]: “On the other side of town.”

Roshni [gives Naina the death glare]: “What?! How are we supposed to get there… it is fuc**** COLD!”

Naina [smiles]: “taxi? And there is no need to curse”

Roshni [yells sarcastically]: “Ok Sensei.”

Roshni tries to get a taxi, but she can’t, instead Naina whistles and five taxis stop. Naina smirks at Roshni, and Roshni just rolls her eyes.

Roshni [smiles]: “I can't wait to see your negotiations with Avex. I feel sorry for them. They won't know what hit them.”

Naina [smirks, and sits in the taxi nearest to them, after Roshni sits in]: “You know me too well sister.”

Roshni [smiles]: “Of course and they try anything they'll have me to deal with.”

Taxi driver [speaking in Japanese]: “Will you two tell me where you want to go please.”

Roshni [laughs]: “Avex Trax Building please.”

Naina [looks at Roshni curiously]: “When did you take lessons in Japanese?

Roshni [smiles]: “Haven’t you been listening to NewS? I gave you all their songs, remember?”

Naina [smiles sadly]: “I listened to it once maybe but I think Xiah Junsu's songs are better.”

Roshni [smiles knowingly]: “Yea… he is a cutie, right?”

Naina [neutral face]: “I wouldn't know.”

Roshni[avoids topic]: “Do you think they will give us a penthouse suite since they already used a song of yours without paying you?”

Naina [smirks]: “We can always hope and manipulate.”

Roshni [smiles]: “It’s too bad no one in the work place, gets to see the real you. You are always professional at work, and keep to yourself.”

Naina [neutral face]: “You get to see me right? That is more than enough.”

Roshni [smiles and caresses Naina’s hair]: “That is true, but making friends with other people is nice too you know.”

Naina [looks at Roshni, and smiles]: “You are all the friends that I need.”

Roshni [sighs]: “Well, I want us to make some friends, just because we are a little different doesn’t mean we cannot associate with other people?”

Naina [avoids question]: “Oh look...we're here already.”

Roshni [rolls her eyes and pays the taxi driver]: “Omg!”

[Both Naina and Roshni stare at the huge building in awe].

Roshni[smirks]: “I think we need to use our best manipulation tricks. We are so getting a penthouse.”

Naina [smirks]: “You are so starting to think like me; [puts on her aviator glasses] are you ready to head in?”

Roshni [looks at Naina with raised eyebrows]: “I am starting to think like you? Who do you think taught you to think like this in the first place?”

Naina [already headed to the main entrance doors ignoring Roshni, a guy is scanning her things]: “Come on Missy!”

Roshni follows Naina to the elevators after they go through security.

They are directed to the 2nd floor where the main office of the Vice President is located.

Outside of the main office there is a secretary on the phone, who is constantly talking, ignoring the presence of both Roshni and Naina. Both of them wait for about 20 minutes, even though Naina is furious for waiting. She keeps her cool and tries to be professional. On the other hand Roshni gets angry.

Roshni [furiously speaking in Japanese]: “Excuse me, but we have been waiting for 20 minutes…”

Naina [stops Roshni mid-sentence and speaks calmly and assertively]: “Um, I’m SugaNain and this is Roshni, we are here to sign a contract with Mr. Sekine. Our appointment was at 2:00pm but your phone call has made us 20 minutes late.”

Stuck up Secretary [responds]: “Well, then you should have gotten my attention 20 minutes ago. [Roshni is ready to smack the bit** but Naina stops her] He is currently in a meeting with Tohoshinki, you are going to have to wait… Oh… [looks at Naina directly] I suggest you take off those cheap aviator glasses indoors, don’t want to look too trashy!”

Naina calms herself down, but Roshni is in a rage and is about to pounce on the annoying rude secretary. When the main doors open to the office and Roshni and Naina’s jaws nearly drop.

Mr. Sekine [looks at his secretary]: “Chika, who are these people?”

Roshni keeps staring at the five men standing next to Mr. Sekine and Naina gets out of her daze and answers: “Hello sir, [Naina steps forward nudges Roshni] I’m SugaNain and this is Roshni, we are both here to speak to you.”

Mr. Sekine [ponders]: “Oh yes yes, Come on in ladies, I forgot I had a meeting with you first. If you don’t mind Tohoshinki would like to sit on [looks at Naina] Ms. Nain’s meeting. [He turns to look at Roshni] Ms. Roshni, you can have a seat outside.

Roshni sits outside, at the sofa and looks at Naina and gives her thumbs up. Naina smiles and walks in praying that she might get her job confirmed. Outside, Roshni stares at the secretary with an evil smirk in her eyes.
