Prologue
They hadn’t seen her in weeks. None of them knew where she
had disappeared to. What had happened to KC that she just up and left their
lives without a word. They had gone to her apartment, her work place even her
usual hangouts. She had even dropped out of college. It was like she had wiped
her existence from the town. Her apartment wasn’t her anymore there was an old
couple living there. Jouty, Naina, Roshni and Salma decided to let go. It had
been weeks and they had tried hard but it was time to let their sweet sister
go. They said a prayer together at the park where they had all first met that
she was safe and happy.
