KC headed to her usual place after dropping Roshni off at school. She made a mental note to take her to the doctors later on in the day. Although Roshni said she didn't feel sick, she looked a little pale.
Naina let her in when KC rang the bell.
She entered the house and immediately covered her ears. "Why is the music so loud?" KC tried to scream on top of the music.
"She is trying to get inspired!" Naina screamed back as she rolled her eyes.
KC laughed. She walked into Jouty's room and turned the music off.
"Oh thank god! I have memorized the song by now. She played it all morning." Naina calls out from her room.
Jouty sits up. "Well not enough times." She says softly.
"Writer's block?" KC asks taking a seat on the edge of her bed.
Jouty sadly nods.
"Let me see what you have." KC moves a little closer.
"No!" Jouty answers quickly. "You don't have to." She slightly shakes her head, closing her notebook.
"But I would like to, maybe I can help." KC offers.
"No it's fine." she tries to smile reassuringly.
KC hesitates before smiling. "Okay! If you say so. I will go check on Naina."
Jouty nods and watches her go. She tries push away the feeling of guilt.
Naina watches her patiently. "Here, look at this." She hands KC her notepad. "It's my new song, not sure if it's ready yet though."

KC takes it but puts it down beside her instead of looking at it. "Do you know why she won't let me see what she wrote?"
Naina grins. "If I say she is a little crazy up there, and most of her actions make little sense would it answer your question?"
KC laughs. "No really. I asked her and she didn't simply say no. It seemed like she felt really strongly about it." KC smiled sadly. "That makes no sense to me."
"Don't worry about it. Trust me you probably don't want to see it anyways." Naina tries to dismiss the issue.
"No but...Have you read it?" KC asks, not ready to let go of the issue.
Naina grabs her guitar from the corner of the room and sits down. "No, and I don't want to read it."
"Is she mad at me or something?" KC frowns. "Did I do something?"
"Don't worry about it." Naina repeats. She lets out a breath and looks at KC. "Really, don't worry about it, may be it has nothing to do with you."
"Then why won't she...If it was Roshni then she would've..." She pauses before she can finish. "Oh..." KC straightens her back and stands up.
"Don't go." Naina asks.
"I will be back tomorrow." KC tries to smile.
Naina wants to stop but she lets it go. "Fine. Just call me." Naina smiles back at her.
KC drives around the city. She starts at the coffee shop first where they had breakfast now and then, then the bookstore where KC often dragged her, then the park where they only ran when they wanted to fit into that one dress, then she goes to the gyro stand she hasn't been to in awhile, then she goes to the arts and crafts store where they spent numerous hours just trying to find the right shade of red, and then finally she goes to the baby boutique where it all started.
KC parks her car across the street and walks into the store cautiously. She half expects herself to turn back but somehow she manages to find the strength to walk on. Everything looks very familiar to her, the things have changed, many new brands have been added and many old brands have been removed. Yet everything seems exactly same to her. KC walks around the store touching different things: cribs, clothes, toys. Some things make her smile, and some brings her near tears. She loses herself amidst all those things, and is finally brought back to reality when her phone vibrates.
"Yunho?" KC asks surprisingly as she picks up the phone.

"Yunho?" KC asks surprisingly as she picks up the phone.
"Where are you?" He sounds tense.
KC starts "I am..." Yunho interrupts her before she can answer
"How can you be so irresponsible?" Yunho asks.
KC is taken by his comment. He might be indifferent now and then but he doesn't talk to her like that.
"Yunho what are you talking about?"
"If you had other plans you could've told me that you can't pick up Roshni from school."
KC quickly looks at her and is shocked. It was near six. Guilt crept into her, and she could feel herself tearing up.
"Are you there?" Yunho asks.
KC clears her throat. "Where are you now?"
"I am going home with Roshni. If you feel your work is done for the day, do come home."
"Yunho…" KC is left stunned as Yunho hangs up.
She runs to car, forgetting to notice the cars driving toward her.
When she finally gets home Yunho had already put Roshni to bed. She goes to her anyways, she readjusts her blanket. She sits there for awhile simply holding her hand, very disappointed in herself for forgetting to keep track of the time. "I am sorry baby." KC places a soft kiss on her forehead then leaves the room quietly.
"You know for someone who went through so much trouble to have her, I would think you would take care of her better." Yunho says bitterly as she saw KC enter their bedroom.

KC ignores his taunt. She took her clothes out of the dresser and heads to the bathroom.
When she comes out she notices Yunho walking back and forth. He stops after seeing her.
"I don't get how you could be so careless." Yunho repeats for the second time that day,
KC bites her lips and walks back to the dresser.
"Do you really have nothing to say to me?" Yunho asks impatiently.
KC turns back to face him. "I am sorry! Okay! I am sorry!" Her lips tremble. "I forgot to keep track of the time. It's not like you haven't done it before. You miss so many of her things because you get caught up in other things!! Still, I am really really sorry!"
She waits for him to react but he doesn't say anything. Nothing like okay I forgive you, or no sorry doesn't cut it. He simply heads to bed, and turns off his side of the light.
KC wipes her tears and heads to bed a few minutes after him. She lies in the dark wondering exactly where her marriage was these days. The dead silence was killing her.
Yunho finally broke it, "Maybe if she was yours you wouldn't have forgotten."
His words cut through her. To her surprise she realized she was too stunned to even cry. She just knew with those words it was finally over.
It's sooo Sad... I can't understand how he cannot see her pain... how he just thinks of himself? He is a right jerk...
