Author's Note: My dear devil, I wish I could tell you how much you mean to me, but I really can't. I wrote these from the heart. So even if they suck I hope you like them. Happy Birthday jaan!!!
Naina sat beside his bed watching his motionless body. She doesn't remember how long she had been sitting there staring at him. She just knew it was for a long time. Naina felt the tears prickling her eyes. She closed her eyes to stop the tears but they escaped anyways.
" Junsu.." Naina whispered." They say I have to let you go.." Naina let out a low bitter laugh "Can you believe that? They are out of their mind."
Naina wiped away the tears and slowly breathed out to calm her nerves. She was choking on her words. There was so much to say, she just couldn't get them out. She desperately smiled at him. He couldn't really see her smile, but somehow she knew he felt her.
" They don't know, do they?" Naina paused and bit her lower lip as she tried to stop the tears. "They don't know that I can't let you go?..They don't know that when your heartbeat stops mine will too." Naina shook her head and silently sobbed.
" Junsu-ah" Naina made an desperate attempt to laugh through her tears." Can you stop playing this sick game already? You win! I lose. I know how much you like to win" Naina placed a kiss on Junsu's cold hand.
" I didn't know it would hurt so much. I thought I was stronger. I really thought I could do without love. If you left me I could eventually move on..." Naina looked at Junsu lovingly. " I was so wrong...I.." Naina paushed. Her heart has never ached this bad. " I am so sorry. I was so so wrong".
Naina lowered her head and sobbed. She felt a hand on her shoulder.
" It's time to go hun" Roshni softly reminded Naina.
Naina straightened her back and wiped her tears. She nodded her head at Roshni.
She slowly got up and kissed Junsu's forehead. When a tear escaped her eye and fell on his cheek and she lovingly wiped it away.
Naina walked to the door. But before she left she smiled at him.
" And CUT!!" Jouty yelled
Junsu opened his eyes and sat up on his bed, before he could get out Naina ran into his arms and started sobbing like a little girl.
" Nain....?" Junsu said softly. He tried to adjust his position slightly but it soon became obvious she wouldn't let go of him. " Babe what's wrong?" Junsu tried to calm her down as held her tighter.
" What the...Naina?" Jouty asked as she walked over to the bed. " The shoot is over devil!"
Naina broke out of Junsu's embrace. " You are the devil.. for writing such mean scripts." Naina finally answered choking on couple of words.
Junsu broke out in laughter. He hasn't really seen her cry like this before. For a second he almost got scared.
He pulled her closer and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead " Naina...." he paused.." Nothing in this world is going to separate us."
" But if it did.." Naina asked.
" It won't" Junsu said.
" But if.."
Junsu covered her mouth with his. It wasn't like their other kisses. It was slow, and warm, and passionate. It made her want to burst into tears once again simply because...just because he was kissing her, and they were together at the moment. That's all that mattered.
This was so sweet. It scared me in the beginning. Also I can see this totally happening. You directing us in a show/movie. Thanks for portraying a sensitive, romantic Naina in this one. I loved the ending! Thanks Jaan<3!
ReplyDeleteThat was brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI was so sad in the beginning and scared too. It was quite a knock on the head that it was all acting.
You have manage to capture Naina perfectly. This was a new side in the stories because we don't usually see this from her.
It was really beautiful.
